Effective July 1st, 2008,ALL DEALERS began electronic reporting and PRINT ON DEMAND (POD) temporary tag for all consumer purchasing vehicles who do not have a metal plate to transfer. Similar to the pre-printed temp tags, the Print on Demand process requires dealers to keep blank temp tags in inventory. Once the temp tag data has been entered into the system, a unique tag number will be sent back to the dealer's computer. The tag can be easily printed on blank temp tag using a standard laser printer.
